Biography

Dr. Garrahy is a Full Professor in the Physical Education-Teacher Education Program at ISU. From 2013-2019, she served as the Director of The Cecilia J. Lauby Teacher Education Center, working with 28 Undergraduate Teacher Education Programs across five Colleges. During this time, Dr. Garrahy oversaw ISU's transition to the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and the University's successful 2019 accreditation review. Before teaching at the University level, she was a licensed Adapted Physical Education and General Physical Education Teacher in the Hilliard and Lakewood, Ohio Public Schools.
