Illinois State University's Accelerated Athletic Training program equips you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel across a broad range of professional environments, including clinics, hospitals, performing arts organizations, industrial settings, and traditional athletic contexts such as high school, collegiate, and professional sports.
The program features a rigorous curriculum encompassing anatomy, physiology, chemistry, physics, biomechanics, sport and exercise psychology, and motor learning. It serves as a foundational pathway for you to pursue certification as an Athletic Trainer, culminating in eligibility to earn the ATC (Certified Athletic Trainer) credential.
