Strategic Plan
Central to the identity of the School of Kinesiology and Recreation is the quality and effectiveness of its academic programs. Building on this premise, this Strategic Plan represents a five-year roadmap that aims to take the School of Kinesiology and Recreation from its currently strong and stable state to an even brighter future. The Strategic Plan utilizes past history and meaningful engagement with relevant stakeholders to create a shared vision and framework to effectively move toward that future.

Foster a culture of engagement and collaboration with external agencies, entities, and organizations.
- Develop and maintain a strategic communications plan to raise visibility and celebrate the achievements of programs, professional services, and external partnerships.
- Maintain, promote, and expand service and civic engagement efforts through the sharing of knowledge and resources within and beyond the campus community.
- Engage with external partners and constituencies to build and expand the human and structural capacity of the School of Kinesiology and Recreation.
- Work with external partners and constituencies to seek and obtain new funding and revenue sources to support scholarships, graduate assistantships, and resources for programs and initiatives.
- Promote collaboration, engagement, and partnerships with external agencies to develop educational, service, and research opportunities.
