Recreation Management professionals plan, organize, and administer recreation and sport programs, services, and activities for people from diverse backgrounds and a wide range of interests.
Examples of employment settings are sports/fitness centers, park districts, employee recreation programs, hotels, resorts, theme parks, cruise lines, theaters, high adventure outdoor pursuits, camps, and the travel/tourism industry.

Recreation Management graduates are eligible and prepared to take the Certified Park and Recreation Professional examination.
