Directions and Parking

If you're using an online mapping site (Map Quest, Google Maps, etc.) or GPS navigator, you will want to set the following address as your destination: 347 South University Street, Normal, Illinois 61790.

From I-74 Eastbound

  • Merge onto I-55 via exit #127 on the left-toward Chicago
  • Take US-51-BR exit (#165A) toward Bloomington-Normal
  • Stay straight to go onto US-51 BR/N Main St.
  • Continue on US-51 BR/N Main St. to College Avenue. Turn left on College Avenue.
  • Go one block and turn right on South University Avenue.
  • Driving on South University Avenue you will pass under the second floor University Street over pass of the Student Fitness Center Building (on your right) and McCormick Hall Building (on your left).
  • Metered parking (1 hour limit) is available at the next intersection of University Street and Hale Street. Meters can be found on both Hale Street (in front of the Student Fitness Center Building) and on South University Street (in front of the Office of Residential Life Building).
  • Or, for longer time parking, continue driving a half block on South University Avenue to the South University Street Parking Garage on the left.
  • Once parked, make your way into McCormick Hall by entering the University Avenue entrance. Walk from the west side of McCormick hall to the east side entrance.  The Exercise Physiology lab will be located on the left (McCormick Hall, room 177) before you reach the east side exit/entrance.

From I-74 Westbound

  • Follow I-55 towards Chicago
  • Take US-51-BR exit (#165A) toward Bloomington-Normal
  • Stay straight to go onto US-51 BR/N Main St.
  • Continue on US-51 BR/N Main St. to College Avenue. Turn left on College Avenue.
  • Go one block and turn right on South University Avenue.
  • Driving on South University Avenue you will pass under the second floor University Street over pass of the Student Fitness Center Building (on your right) and McCormick Hall Building (on your left).

  • Take a left at the top of the exit ramp
  • Stay straight on US-51-BR/N Main St.
  • Continue on US-51 BR/N Main St. to College Avenue. Turn left on College Avenue.
  • Go one block and turn right on South University Avenue.
